Please no more make it stop

Is it just me or is the Brownlow medal count the just about as interesting as televised paint drying with a side of grass growing.

My Friend Flickr

Week 3 Learning 2.0.

Well I suppose I should actually do the activity for this week.

I was very excited that I managed to put a photo onto the Flickr website. Yea.

This is the photo that I put on Flickr. This is the little dude that lives on my desk, most of the time he stays hidden, but if I sit very still and quiet then he creeps out and explores. What do you think?

Well I suppose I should go and do some more work, I have just finished making the skeleton of a scarecrow, it's kinda dodgy but I think the fact that I have all my fingers and toes and such so that's a bonus.

This audio book is very good but I think it needs to go through the disk doctor.

Blog me Baby one more time.

After hearing so much about the terrible showing of Britney Spears at the MTV award thingy I got to thinking about all the things that really get up my nose so since I work in a library I thought I would make a nice list.

1. Paris Hilton
2. Britney Spears and all people associated with her
3. The words slacks
4. Royal scandals
5. Hairy Backs
6. Country Music
7. Hypocritical people
8. People who can't drive
9.

This is the start I'm sure of what will become a very long list that I will be adding to as most things do annoy me at one time or another.

When the week end ends

Gosh what a crazy week end weather wise, just about go blown away yesterday, was so not happy with the time I spent getting all the knots out of my hair, I knew it was a mistake to go out side. I wonder if it's to late to study to be a hermit.

I spent a good portion of the afternoon reading, my favourite thing to do. I was lucky enough to get a couple of books by authors I always look out for so I was a happy camper. Started listening to Philip Pullman's 'Northern Lights' also the known as 'The Golden Compass' book one in 'His Dark Materials' series. The film is being released in December (I think). I'm Looking forward to it.

Thank the good lord that it's that time.

What a week it's been. this working 5 days malarkey has got to stop, I quite enjoyed my short week last week. I guess it shows how easy it is to get spoilt. I do wish that I got to spend more time in Melbourne, I could of easily spent another day prowling through the NGV bookshop, it has to be one of my favourite places to visit. Oh well I will have to save my pennies for when the next good exhibition comes along.

I think it's time to unplug and head home. I'm listening to 'jazz cafe`' at the moment something a little more mellow in it's very wholesome big band sounding. I have to try very hard not to dance in my seat overly much. It's funny but I just worked out that while I'm working I tend to listen to world music or jazz and classical but as soon as I get home the stereo is cranked up and the music is a whole lot heavier and not so wholesome. I wonder why that is because I like both sounds whith out a real preferance.

Since I'm a spinster and live alone I have no one to put my art work on the refrigerator so now I'm going to subject my reader to it. Yes I do appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to read what ever is draining out of my brain through my finger tips and onto my Blog. I think it must be time to go home and watch some more hot boys on DVD, but first I suppose I will have to go the stupidmarket. I don't wanna go. Whoa I just read back over that brain thing and that's kinda gross. no one likes ooze, specially on a lady.

Getting down and bloggy

Didn't really have a lot to say, but I just keep thinking up punny titles for posts, so it's the old use it or lose it thing going on.
I was listening to a very interesting conversation on the J's the other night talking about the legal implications of the increase in social networking sites and the opportunities they provide for bullying etc. It got me wondering about how far it will go, will users still be able to question political decisions, as well as the people making those decisions? Weird the things that pop into my mind.

Welcome to throw the book

This is my libraryish Blog which may end up containing quite a bit of gibberish as well but that is where all the fun is... Isn't it? Hello. Learning curve here. I have some spicy Spanish music in my ear to help with the learning. Had to laugh one of the songs didn't sound as if it would be out of place on an elevator. I think I may have gone off on a tangent which I must admit is one of my favourite places to visit, I think if I had my own country I would call it Tangent so people could say that they went off on a tangent for a week.
